We can usually get any issue under control without losing the piercing but we want to be as proactive as possible, so please come see us with any concerns and if we think you need to see a Dr. we will let you know.

What is the normal drainage from a new piercing?

You may notice some drainage coming from a new piercing in it's healing phase. While this is normal for any new piercing(some more than others) the drainage should be a yellowish brown color often containing lymph fluid, sebum, and possibly some blood. Please be sure to rinse thoroughly in the bath or shower removing as much as possible without causing movement to the piercing. If you are ever unsure whether your piercing is healthy and happy please don't hesitate coming by the shop so a piercer can take a look. We would rather see you too much than not enough.
